Capri Sun Is Selling a Pallet of 3,800 Pouches to Let You Know Its Iconic Packaging Isn’t Going Away
Hope you have a sizable storage unit.
It’s tough to find things that Gen X, Millennials, and Generation Z agree on.
Each demographic has its own preferences, from everything to the cut of their jeans to the height of their socks, but everyone — regardless of when they were born — seemed both shocked and disappointed to learn that Capri Sun might be ditching its iconic pouches (and those pointy straws) for plastic bottles.
This started a few days ago when the popular Snackolator Instagram account posted a photo of three bottles of Capri Sun, suggesting that this might be how the juice-based drinks are sold from now on.

“Capri Sun is coming for the adults with new bottles that will be arriving in stores soon,” the post read. “These were announced for the upcoming [National Association of Convenience Stores] show and will be in three flavors (at least) to start: Fruit Punch, Strawberry Kiwi, and Pacific Cooler. Each bottle is 12 ounces and won’t need you to have to find the spot to poke the straw in.”
The response to that post was… utter devastation. Like a combination of learning that Santa Claus doesn’t exist and that Dolly Parton is secretly mean to everyone. “I feel like it’s not an exaggeration to say this is one of the most shocking product changes in the history of food and beverage,” one user wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “I actually hate this,” another added.

Fortunately for all of us, the arrival of the bottled Capri Suns does not mean that the pouches are disappearing. “This is in addition [to the pouches] to give adults an option [...] without walking around with a pouch,” Snackolator later clarified in the comments. Capri Sun itself also confirmed that the pouches aren’t going anywhere, and that sound you heard was literally everyone sighing with relief. “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet — we’d never disrespect the pouch and they’re here to stay,” the company wrote on Instagram.
Not only that, but later this week, Capri Sun is expected to roll out a massive pallet of 3,800 pouches, which will be on sale exclusively at Walmart. The company has not released any additional details about this absolute unit, so if you’re interested — and have the storage space — you should follow Capri Sun’s social media accounts for more info. (One outlet reported that the 3,800-pack will cost $250. And if that’s true, then it’s a deal: you’d be paying less than 7 cents per pouch.)
Now that we’re not losing our Capri Sun pouches, can we all please come to a consensus on sock height?
