Welcome to October, Capricorn. This month brings Halloween, another eclipse, and the continuation of Pluto's last re-entry into your sign before settling into Aquarius. There was a lunar eclipse in September that happened on the same day your ruling planet, Saturn, opposed Mercury, which could have led to fights. There's another eclipse on Wednesday, October 2, but this one is a solar eclipse and aligns with the new moon phase. While lunar eclipses like the one last month are associated with endings, this one relates to beginnings. As it occurs in your 10th House of Social Status, that could mean you receive welcome professional news on this date. However, eclipses are also stressful times that lead us to feel burnt out, so try to get as much sleep as possible on and around this date.

The expansive planet Jupiter goes retrograde in Gemini, affecting your 6th House of Health on Wednesday, October 9. You're a very driven sign, but you can struggle with maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Jupiter's retrograde lasts through February of 2025. While the effects won't be in your face the way a Mercury retrograde can be, between now and then, you will revisit what you commit yourself to. You may have to say no to some projects for the sake of your health, but doing so will make you thrive even better in what's most important to you.

The transformative planet Pluto first moved into your sign back in 2008. Earlier this year, it moved into Aquarius, where it will stay until 2043. It dipped back into your sign last month while retrograde, and on Friday, October 11, the planet goes direct in your sign, Capricorn, before moving back to Aquarius in November. Its brief reentry into your sign gives you a chance to say goodbye to a chapter in your life. Think back to 2008. Did anything major occur? That period of your life is now coming to a close, but something welcome and wonderful will take its place.

Shortly after, on Sunday, October 13, the divine messenger Mercury moves into Scorpio and your 11th House of Friendship. If you've been putting friends on the back burner for the sake of work or romantic relationships, this weekend is a lovely time to finally catch up with them. And when the sweet planet Venus moves into your trippy 12th House on Thursday, October 17, pay extra attention to your intuition. You may receive psychic messages around this time. The next few weeks are ideal for working with tarot, connecting with ancestors, or whatever spiritual practices speak to you. If you get a bad feeling about someone you meet around this date, trust it.

Also, on Thursday, October 17, the sky lights up with an Aries full moon that affects your 4th House of Home and Family. While not as intense as eclipses, full moons can be draining. You'll want to make this a cozy night in. You might feel a little bit anxious, and full moons can sometimes lead to conflict with loved ones. To avoid this, rest and try to get a lot of sleep that night.
