Carrie Underwood's Mega-Toned Legs In These Minidress Pics Are đ„đ„đ„
If there's one thing I know about Country Queen Carrie Underwood, it's that she definitely knows how to rock the stage. So, itâs no surprise the âTake Me Outâ singer was tapped to perform at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction in Brooklyn this week. And, of course, while belting some of her hits, Carrie showed off how epically strong and sculpted all over she is right now.
In pics from the event, Carrie rocked a black minidress that showed off her sculpted legs as she leapt around the stage. And in true Carrie fashion, though, she balanced it all out with an oversized flower on the top of the dress. Here's a peek at the strong look, in case you missed it:
BTW, Carrie is up for a bunch of awards at the Country Music Awards on Wednesday night, so I think it's safe to say fans are guaranteed another certified ~lewk~ from the singer very soon. Consider us #blessed.
If youâve been looking to add a couple of Carrieâs moves to your own leg day, Womenâs Health has you covered with the country starâs essentials. The first thing to know is that Carrie and her trainer, Eve Overland, CPT, train pretty much every day, and they make it a point to carve out time for exercise even when they are on the road together. Case in point: They fit in some serious sweat seshes during the starâs The Denim & Rhinestones Tour.
Despite a busy touring schedule, Carrie prioritizes âme time," which usually involves some movement. Overland says this helps the singer stay positive, she shared with WH.
âEven though the touring life is high demand and schedules are crazy, we have a set routine and can guarantee that time together," Overland tells WH.
The sessions are usually 90 minutes long and focus on the whole body. For her legs, she prioritizes squats, deadlifts, and lunges, her trainer shared. "We progress, add challenge, and mix things up by changing the amount of weight used, reps, tempo, and equipment," Overland tells WH.
Usually, the workouts are structured into five supersets, which include three rounds of a few exercises, plus bursts of cardio in between. For example, in one of her leg circuits, Carrie does 10 reps on the leg press machine in a sumo stance, barbell lateral lunges into curtsy lunges, squat jacks, and skaters. She then moves right into a 90-second cardio burst of box squats to get her heart pumping even further. So yeah... definitely not a surprise that Carrie has super strong legs.
When it comes to her nutrition, Carrie relies on the advice of her friend and nutritionist Cara Clark, who shared some of the starâs favorites with WH. FWIW, Carrie eats a mostly vegan diet, and after crushing her morning workout, she enjoys rogu or egg white scramble, Ezekiel toast, berries, and coffee, per Clark.
Lunch is usually a sandwich packed with lots of veggies, and Carrie ends her days with a dinner of roasted veggies and a piece of vegan chicken or tofu stirfry. Yum!
Carrieâs biggest tip for people who are busy like her is to prepare your own food while traveling. "I carry my own food with me everywhere," tells WH. "I'm always going to the grocery store, just so I'm prepared."
You are insanely strong, Carrie, and serious inspo... Good luck with the CMAs!
