Celebrating Halloween in Columbus? Here are recommended trick-or-treat hours
For those on the hunt for candy this Halloween, the city of Columbus has recommended trick-or-treat hours and safety tips leading up to Thursday.
Columbus Mayor Skip Henderson posted a letter to Facebook Tuesday announcing the city’s recommended trick-or-treat hours were 5 to 8 p.m. on Halloween. Henderson urged parents to make sure children are carrying flashlights or glow sticks and suggested sticking to well-lit areas.
A tip was given to drivers suggesting they slow down and be extra cautious. Lastly, the letter suggests checking all candy before letting children or adults eat the treats gathered.
