Celebrities Front Row at Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2024 Ready-to-wear: Sofia Richie Grainge, Damson Idris and More

It was a New York moment at its fullest on Friday night as guests like Sofia Richie Grainge, Damson Idris, GloRilla, Kelly Rutherford, and more packed into the Oyster Bar at Grand Central Terminal for the Tommy Hilfiger show.

Vodka martinis floated around as the guests took their seats among the banquettes, which had been reupholstered by Hilfiger in his own fabric.

Idris was dressed for the night in a beige bomber jacket, layered over a striped breton T-shirt and navy pants.

“My general personal style is the guy at the mall that’s trying to get the girl,” he said with a smirk. “Sometimes he gets her. Most of the time he doesn’t, but he looks good anyway.”

The British actor is at work on the Formula 1 Joseph Kosinski film starring Brad Pitt.

“Scary” was how he described filming the project, in which he plays a rookie driver, before clarifying, “I’m playing, it’s not scary, it’s the best time of my life and I’m just really enjoying it.”

He remained coy about potential Valentine’s Day plans.

“I don’t know — maybe,” he smiled. “We’ll see.”

Further down the row was GloRilla, fresh off releasing her newest single “Yeah Glo!”

“It feels great, I love that everybody else likes it as much as I do,” she said of having the project out in the world.

Her love for Tommy Hilfiger stems from seeing Aaliyah wear the brand when Glo was a kid.

“I just love the whole brand. I’ve been loving it since I was a kid when I saw Aaliyah do it, and it feels great that I can find a home in fashion,” she said. Her look for the night was inspired by the late singer.

“You know, I’m on my old-school Aaliyah vibe,” she said of her tied-up T-shirt and jeans, which were paired with a diamond necklace spelling out ‘hallelujah’ — “that’s my middle name.”

As for the rest of her fashion week?

“Tommy tommy tommy!”
