Celebrities are loving velvet, because '90s forever

If there’s one trend reigning supreme this week, it’s velvet. On various red carpets this week, Winnie Harlow Gwyneth Paltrow, Anna Kendrick, Shay Mitchell and Felicity Jones all wore sumptuous velvet frocks — giving us some serious ’90s nostalgia.

And they’re not the only ones — from red carpet-worthy gowns to slinky slip dresses, dozens of celebrities have rocked velvet this year, and the trend doesn’t seem like it will be losing steam anytime soon.
