You Can Charter Lürssen’s New 400-Foot Gigayacht for $3.3 Million a Week

You might have missed out on buying Lürssen’s Kismet last year, but you can now charter its epic successor for roughly $3.3 million a week.

The new 400-foot Kismet has joined the Cecil Wright fleet and will be available for the 2024 charter season.

“Having sold the previous Kismet (now renamed Whisper) in September last year, we are delighted to be able to continue our relationship with her owner as the central agent for charter for his stunning new vessel,” yacht broker Chris Cecil-Wright said in a statement.

Due to be delivered by the German shipyard this year, the vessel features a sleek exterior by Italian firm Nuvolari Lenard and an interior design by the folks at Reymond Langton in the U.K.

Spread across six decks, the sprawling living quarters feature between eight and nine cabins that can sleep up to 12 guests. Spanning two decks, the owner’s suite comprises a spacious stateroom with a skylight and fireplace, dual bathrooms, two dressing rooms, and a private Jacuzzi with a sunbathing area. A private staircase leads to the owner’s office with panoramic views, a conference table for up to six, and a dedicated pantry. The guest cabins are “exquisitely appointed and thoughtfully designed,” according to Cecil Wright. Both double and twin configurations are available, providing plenty of space and flexibility. In addition, Kismet is equipped with cabins for 36 crew plus the captain to ensure guests receive a high level of service.

Health is a major focus of Kismet. A futuristic Tron-inspired corridor leads to a wellness area with every conceivable amenity, according to the British yacht dealer. Standouts include a Balinese-inspired spa with a hammam, sauna, and cryotherapy, as well as a dedicated gym and a yoga studio with a juice bar, both with opening sea terraces. In addition, the yacht has two hair and beauty rooms for preening at sea.

Kismet has near-endless entertainment features, too. She is equipped with three pools: a Jacuzzi with a waterfall on the top deck, a large pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar on the pool deck aft, and a Jacuzzi forward on the upper deck. She also sports an outdoor cinema on the bridge deck, a Nemo cinema on the lower deck with a 150-inch drop-down TV, and an underwater viewing lounge. Other notable amenities include a DJ station, a Champagne bar, a teppanyaki station, and a wine cellar. To top it off, Kismet sports a garage full of water toys and a basketball and pickleball court.
