Cheez-It Has a New Fast Food Collab That Might Beat Taco Bell’s

Did someone say Cheez-It burrito?

Just a few short months ago, we were all going gaga for the new Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap at Taco Bell and the giant Cheez-It tostada that was made specifically for the fast food restaurant. While the Big Cheez-It menu was only available for a limited time, it seems that the world has realized that the cheesy crackers work incredibly well when mixed with Tex-Mex foods.

While there’s no telling if Taco Bell will bring back its giant Cheez-It cracker, there’s another fast food restaurant that’s adding the cheesy favorite to its menu. Starting Sept. 3, Moe’s Southwest Grill is introducing Cheez-It crackers to its lineup of toppings.

Moe’s Southwest Grill Adds Cheez-It Crackers to Menu

Moe’s customers can add a little crunch of Cheez-It crackers to any of its build-your-own entrées—including burritos, bowls, stacks, nachos, quesadillas, and tacos—for a limited time. And because add-ons are always free at Moe’s—yes, including guac—the Cheez-It crackers are available at no additional charge.

"We pride ourselves in feeding the rebel spirit in each of our guests by infusing creative offerings to our menu so they can satisfy their cravings," said Joe Artime, VP of Marketing at Moe's Southwest Grill, in a press release. "Cheez-It crackers bring a craveable, cheesy crunch when added to our menu offerings. We can't wait to see how fans customize their order with this fan-favorite snack."

Unlike Taco Bell’s Big Cheez-It Tostada, Moe’s Southwest Grill is offering traditional-sized Cheez-It crackers that mix into any of its entrées to give you a cheesy crunch in every bite. In addition to joining Moe’s lineup of 20 fresh and free ingredients, Cheez-It crackers can be ordered on the side to enjoy with Moe’s famous queso—because you can never have too much cheese, right?

This isn’t the first time Moe’s and Kellanova, Cheez-It's parent company, have joined forces for a menu collab. In 2023, the brands teamed up to release the Eggo waffle taco for National Taco Day. And Moe’s has been known to craft some other tasty team-ups in the past, too, like its Mike’s Hot Honey sauces and Frank’s RedHot taco.

With all these new menu items coming out, we think we’ll be hearing “Welcome to Moe’s” much more frequently.
