Chick-fil-A Play App: Chick-fil-A announces new entertainment app with animated shows, podcasts and games
Chick-fil-A Play App also set to launch Nov. 18
The restaurant chain is also set to launch its new Chick-fil-A Play App on Monday.
Announced by the company last month, the app features "free digital fun" and "kid-friendly content" including original shows, podcasts, games, recipes and more, Chick-fil-A said in a news release.
The app is not intended to be a streaming service to compete with the likes of Netflix, Hulu, and others, but rather it aims to create "new ways for families to have fun, connect and spend time together," according to the company.
Chick-fil-A says the app is designed "for parents and kids to share and experience together" and will be "loaded with a wide variety of content and original entertainment for all ages to enjoy."
"Launching November 18, the Chick-fil-A Play App will offer families the ultimate digital 'playground' featuring fun and unique content made to be shared both within the app and in-person, encouraging families to make the most of the moments they have with each other," Chick-fil-A said in the announcement last month.
The app will be available for free, and the company told USA TODAY that it currently has no plans to charge for it.
