Chrissy Teigen shares unfiltered photo of surgery scars
Chrissy Teigen spent Valentine's Day showing love to herself as she shared an unfiltered photo of her body on Instagram.
The 35-year-old shared clips from her celebrations with husband John Legend on her stories, where she chronicled their night out. But she also posted some photos from their hotel room when the night ended, including a photo of her stomach and breasts that revealed her scars from recent surgeries.
"Happy Valentine's Day. Love yourself!!" she wrote on the photo. "B**** has been throuuugh it."
Teigen also added a band-aid emoji alongside the bruising and marks left behind from an endometriosis procedure she had over a week prior. Although she was able to make it out to celebrate Valentine's Day with Legend, Teigen had previously shared that the recovery from the surgery meant to alleviate pain from her endometriosis — a disorder in which uterine lining tissue incorrectly grows outside of the uterus — was rough.

The recent photo even showed scars on Teigen's breasts, resulting from a surgery in May when she got her breast implants removed.
This wouldn't be the first time that Teigen got candid about her appearance, even recently speaking out about her frustration over having a pregnancy belly even after her miscarriage with baby Jack. The mother-of-two also chronicled a case of swollen lips over the weekend, which she suggests was a result of biting into an orange that might have had pesticides on it.
"I look like a juicy blow up doll, freshly unpacked," she wrote on Instagram.
