Chrissy Teigen hilariously hits back at mommy-shamers with latest Instagram post

You would think that by now, the internet would know better than to come for Chrissy Teigen.

This past weekend, the 32-year-old model received some unsolicited parenting advice after sharing a sweet photo with her two children, 2-year-old daughter, Luna, and one-month old son, Miles.

In the photo, Teigen proudly holds both of her children while dining at a beachfront restaurant. The social media-savvy star shared the photo to Instagram and hilariously anticipated keyboard critics with a caption revealing the struggle to post the perfect family photo.

“Should I post the one where his head looks unsupported but my face looks good and Luna is over it, the one where his head is supported but my face is just okay and Luna is over it, or him crying and my face looks okay and luna is over it? [sic],” Teigen wrote.

Mommy-shamers were quick to come after Teigen, for everything from her choice in dress to the way she held her son.

“How about the one where his head looks unsupported, your face looks good, Luna is over it, almost your entire boob is showing, and it looks like the baby might get heat stroke…..?” one commenter wrote.

Another said, “Maybe stop thinking about yourself and your face and just support his head instead of posing all the time?”

The model and cookbook author hit back at a troll after they chimed in by saying, “He doesn’t look too happy wit the sun in his little eyes.”

“He told me he loves it,” Teigen cheekily replied.

Despite the harsh criticism Teigen faces on a daily basis, she continues to be praised by followers for shedding a spotlight on the not-so-glamorous side of motherhood.

Earlier this year, the Sports Illustrated model shared photos of herself trying out vaginal steaming and even shared a photo where she’s posing in her maternity underwear after giving birth to son, Miles.

“It’s ‘s truly amazing to see a celebrity post natural pictures after giving birth. I’m definitely not that glowing after having mine 2 months ago. Its tiring, that’s for sure,” one fellow mother wrote. “Children are a blessing. Stay real, beautiful.”

While we’ll never understand why people feel the need to spread negativity, with over 18.4 million followers, Chrissy Teigen is cementing her status as one of the most beloved people on social media – and we’re here for it.
