Christina Applegate's latest red carpet appearance was a special one.

On Sunday evening, the "Dead to Me" star attended the 28th Critic's Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Calif., marking the first time she walked a red carpet since she announced her MS diagnosis in 2021.

The 51-year-old, who was nominated for best actress in a comedy series, rocked a tailored black suit, a glitzy oversized necklace and her cane. For glam, she styled her long blonde hair in loose waves and added a touch of red lipstick.

She topped off the look with a custom manicure that paid tribute to "Dead to Me" characters Jen and Judy. The actress painted her nails deep blue with "Jen" and "Judy" written on them in gold.

Applegate walked the carpet with her 11-year-old daughter, Sadie Grace LeNoble, who wore a black and white striped suit and a black cap. The mother-daughter duo also wore matching Dr. Martens boots.

A few days before the ceremony, Applegate took to Twitter to express her gratitude for being invited to the prestigious event.

"So this Sunday will be the first awards show I have been to since 2019. And the first since MS. Nervous! But grateful to the [Critic's Choice] for including me," she wrote.

Yesterday, the actress shared a photo of her nails and her daughter at the event with her 1.6 million followers.

"Critics choice awards nails. It says Jen and Judy. And the other pic is of the best date ever … my rad daughter," Applegate penned.

Many fans replied to the tweet, gushing over her "gorgeous" look and expressing their "respect" for her.

"You look gorgeous, congratulations on the [nomination]," wrote a fan.

"So proud of you, keep doing you, don’t let this own you. Will always support you in any which way ... respect," shared someone else.

"It was incredible seeing you out amongst your peers where you belong for many more decades to come! You looked stunning, and the nails speak for themselves," added another.

While it was her first official red carpet since her multiple sclerosis diagnosis, Applegate made her first public appearance post-diagnosis in November, when she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

She was set to receive the honour in 2020, but it got pushed due to the pandemic.

"People are going to see me for the first time as a disabled person, and it's very difficult. So, for me, two years ago would have been so much better!" Applegate told Variety.

The "Anchorman" actress shared her health news with the world in Aug. 2021, and explained that she had noticed "very small symptoms" four years prior to her diagnosis, such as a weak leg and feeling very tired.
