Clarks Originals Revives Exclusive Collaboration With Claima
Clarks Originals is bringing back its exclusive collaboration with Claima, which was initially released in November 2023.
Founded in 2019 by BJ Frogozo and Bimma Williams, the innovative organization champions authentic and diverse modes of storytelling that capture the human experience. Claima Stories is a highly popular podcast that provides a platform to entrepreneurs of color.
The familiar Wallabee style takes center stage for this joint effort, welcoming a creative reinterpretation that embodies Claima's vibrant spirit. "Our design approach to this version of the Wallabee is defined by two words: resilience and enjoyment. Resilience reminds us that we can't be broken [easily]. Enjoyment reminds us not to take things too serious," Williams shares in an exclusive press release.
Inspired by Williams and his wife's recent travels to Mexico City, the tried and true silhouette appears in two classic colorways -- "Purple" and "Cream Leather." A playful "Purpose Heart" design is stitched into the toe box, appearing in the opposite color, nodding to Williams' wife and love itself reminding us that it takes time to find our other half. A golden amber paints the leather collar and the upper's perimeter. A natural-toned crepe sole completes the shoe's design.
To commemorate the restock, Clarks will host a live interview session with Bimma on Instagram on Wednesday March 20.
