Conair and Scünci Introduce ‘Wicked’-inspired Collections With Accessories for Hair Care Routines From ‘Styling to Sleep’
Conair and Scünci are casting a spell and adding a touch of magic to their collaborative essentials. The two brands are introducing new collections of hair care pieces and accessories inspired by the forthcoming film adaptation of “Wicked,” which hits theaters Nov. 22.
Conair and Scünci’s collections feature variations on scrunchies, mirrors, headbands, bows and more inspired by the two main characters of the film — Elphaba, played by Cynthia Erivo, and Glinda, played by Ariana Grande. The pink pieces in the collection, which also feature touches of gold, are evocative of Grande’s character, while the green and black assortment of pieces echo the character Elphaba.

“We loved the idea of partnering with ‘Wicked’ because we knew there would be a beautiful color story to tell with these products,” Sarah Phan, vice president of marketing for Conair and Scünci, told WWD.
“The Elphaba line features dark, foresty greens while the Glinda collection showcases soft, neutral pinks,” she said. “Our product team is always on the forefront of trends so we made sure to include items that would elevate our customer’s everyday hair.”
Phan said the two hair care companies “look for partners who are excited to utilize our brands’ creativity and technology to provide our loyal customer base with a one-of-a-kind experience. The ‘Wicked’ film is the perfect opportunity for our brands to do just that with a bit of magic mixed in.”
“Through the ‘Wicked’ x Conair and ‘Wicked’ x Scünci collection we will showcase a wide breadth of our assortment that can be incorporated into any phase of your hair care routine. From styling to sleep, this collection will have you feeling enchanted throughout the day,” Phan added.
Conair and Scünci’s collections usher in the fall movie season, keeping fans of the musical and film in mind, Phan explained. “Whether you’re an Elphaba who loves iridescent emeralds or a Glinda who is drawn to soft pinks or a little of both — this collection has it all!”
