Connor McDavid and fiancée Lauren Kyle rock 'Survivor' costumes for Halloween party
The soon-to-be wife of the Canadian NHLer shared pictures from a Halloween party they attended with friends.
Lauren Kyle is getting cheeky for Halloween.
The fiancée of NHL star Connor McDavid took to Instagram on Monday with a series of photos from a Halloween party at Dolly's Cocktail Bar in Edmonton. In the shots, the couple rocked costumes from the reality TV show "Survivor," with Kyle, 27, dressed as a castaway and McDavid, 26, as the show's host, Jeff Probst.
Kyle nailed her costume with a red "Survivor" Buff worn as a tube top and black shorts, along with props of items used on the show like an immunity necklace and a torch. McDavid could also easily pass as Probst, with a black buttoned shirt, white shorts and a "Survivor" baseball cap.
"The boo crew," Kyle captioned her post, which also included several photos of herself posing with her friends.
Fans showed their appreciation for the duo's costumes in the comments of Kyle's post.
"Killed it!" someone penned.
"McProbst," someone else shared, noting McDavid's costume.
"Awesome," one person commented.
"The tribe has spoken," another added, referencing the iconic line from the competition television show.
Kyle and McDavid have been together since they were 19 years old, but the Canadian NHL superstar finally got down on one knee this past June.
In her first post from the special day, Kyle noted how June 22 became the "best day of my life."
"I cannot put into words how happy I am to be spending the rest of our lives together," she wrote in that June 24 post on Instagram.
A week after getting engaged, Kyle reminisced about the momentous day, sharing several "stunning" photos from the special day on social media.
Dressed to the nines, Kyle stunned in a House of CB pink velvet corset dress, while McDavid rocked a blue suit paired with a white T-shirt and sneakers.
"So much to look forward to, Lauren! We are excited for you both," one person penned on the post.
"Move over, Hailey Bieber's ring!! There's a new queen in town," another joked.
"The perfect proposal," someone added.
"Your dress is stunning! Beautiful family..beautiful ring..beautiful setting! Total perfection!" someone else raved.
