Connor McDavid's fiancée Lauren Kyle reveals details about their wedding plans
Kyle revealed the couple will hold their wedding in a place close to their hearts.
Lauren Kyle and Connor McDavid are in the "thick" of wedding planning.
Kyle recently revealed in an interview with Narcity that the details of their big day are slowly coming together — and shared that they're in the "thick of things" when it comes to planning.
"We have a date and location, which is important. Now we're getting into the fun details of the design," Kyle said. The couple plans on tying the knot in the very spot in Muskoka, Ont. where McDavid proposed over the summer.
"We're gonna do it in an undisclosed location in Muskoka," she confirmed.
Kyle announced her and McDavid's engagement on Instagram in June a series of candid photos alongside a heartfelt caption.
“I cannot put into words how happy I am to be spending the rest of our lives together. Almost eight years of growth, happiness and so much love and I can’t believe we have so much more to look forward to," Kyle penned.
“I knew you were my person from the day we met and I can’t wait for the beautiful life we are going to create together," she continued, writing, "Thank you for the most thoughtful, picture perfect proposal that I could never have imagined. I love you more than anything.”
Last week, the soon-to-be-wife of the Edmonton Oilers captain shared an Instagram reel documenting her recent wedding dress shopping experience in New York City.
In the video, Kyle posed in several bridal gowns, showcasing a wide range of shapes, fabrics, sleeves and necklines.
"NYC dress diaries: A sneak peek into my search for 'the one,'" she captioned the post. "So many dresses, but the perfect one is playing hard to get!"
"When you look good in literally all of them, the choice must be impossible," an Instagram user commented on the post.
Another person added: "You are going to be the most beautiful bride."
