This week, Meghan served up another dose of fashion inspiration, in the form of a new Instagram post celebrating the launch of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, which offered a peek inside her work from home setup, and her understatedly elegant remote work style.
The post, which Meghan captioned “So grateful for the love and support. Keep listening to ‘Confessions of a Female Founder’ anywhere you get your podcasts 💫” featured a video clip of the duchess in her podcasting setup, sitting on a grey, tufted sofa, surrounded by microphones and her laptop. In addition to her over-ear headphones (of course), she is seen wearing an pale taupe sweater and black leggings—a combination that looks comfortable, but not the least bit schlubby. “We became moms in the pandemic, post-pandemic culture where there is so much working from home,” Meghan said during the first episode of her podcast, which guest starred her friend Whitney Wolfe Heard, the creator of Bumble. “I don’t leave the house to go to an office, my office is here. Lili still naps, she gets picked up early and she naps, she only has a half day in preschool. If she wakes up and she wants to find me, she knows where to find me, even if my door is closed to the office. She’ll be sitting there on my lap during one of these meetings with a grid of all the executives…I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t want to miss those moments. I don’t want to miss pickup if I don’t have to. I don’t want to miss drop-off.”
