The holidays are here, and we can't wait to dive into delicious desserts. This time of year, we’re craving all the traditional sweet treats, including pumpkin pie, carrot cake, sticky toffee pudding, and good old-fashioned gingerbread.

But let's not leave out the classic pecan pie. This dessert is pure perfection with its caramel-pecan filling and buttery golden crust. While we love whipping up pecan pies from scratch, we don’t mind getting help from the grocery store during the busiest cooking time of the year (right now!).

That’s where Costco comes in. The retailer has many baked goods to choose from that customers are ready to grab and go. Costco recently brought back one of its popular desserts perfect for the holiday season—pecan pie.

Costco's Pecan Pie Is Officially Back

The pie is "massive," says TikTok’s CostcoBuys. Weighing in around 5 pounds, it can feed a crowd, which is good because we're sure all your guests will want a taste—not only for the sweet and nutty filling but also for the “flakiest crust” you may ever bite into.

Reviews of Costco's Pecan Pie

There was more chatter on a recent Reddit thread about Costco’s pecan pie. One Redditor, who usually opts for a Whole Foods pie, stated, “It's massive in comparison.” At the same time, another said it “has the most amount of pecans per pie (not just for its size but also for density of pecans) that I’ve seen,” which makes it “a very good deal and quite tasty.”

It will cost you $16.99, but we think that’s fair considering its vast size and quality. After all, there’s a reason why shoppers get excited when Costco brings it back each year.

Instagram’s costcodealsonline posted about this find, saying they “love all the pie options out right now,” with one person commenting that the pecan pie from Costco is their “favorite.” On that same Reddit thread, an alleged Costco bakery worker stated that the pie “is made by scratch, in store” unlike the apple pie, which is “frozen."

Homemade pecan pie that isn’t frozen? As if we needed any more convincing—we’re ready to put a fork in it.
