Costco Customers: Coca-Cola Products Have Officially Been Spotted At Food Courts
We didn't quite believe it when we first heard the news of Coca-Cola products making their return to Costco food courts, but like they say, "seeing is believing." And this week, we spotted one of the first videos of Coca-Cola products taking over the soda dispensers at the warehouse's beloved food court.
Video of the Atlanta, Georgia-based beverage brand beginning to make its triumphant return to Costco was shared late last week by Laura Lamb of @costcohotfinds.
"It's finally happening," she announced, before informing fans that they can expect "a slow rollout" of the Coca-Cola takeover. By July, Coca-Cola products should be available at all Costco food court locations.
Lamb's post was flooded with comments from fans eager to get their hands on a food court cup filled with their favorite Coke beverage.
"Hallelujah! … the king has returned," one person announced.
But not everyone on Instagram is rolling out the red carpet for the beverage behemoth. Pepsi lovers have joined forces quicker than the Avengers to denounce the "desperate" new addition to the food court.
"No Costco we want Pepsi back!" said one fan.
"Coca-Cola is desperate They are probably paying Costco to put it out there," another chimed in.
Without the addition of Dr Pepper to the lineup of Coca-Cola products, a number of people are less than impressed.
"Meh call me when they have Dr. Pepper," read one comment.
"Rather have Dr. Pepper but whatever," someone else wrote.
Well, we guess you can't please everyone, but in the meantime we'll take a Diet Coke with that hot dog combo, pls.
