These Costco Ice Cream Bars Are Selling Out Like Crazy After Going Viral
Summer may be coming to an end soon, but that doesn't mean you should deny yourself the joy of an ice cream bar. And if you happen to pop into Costco, you're likely to come across a frozen treat that customers can't seem to get enough of.
Across social media, Costco shoppers have been on the hunt for the somewhat elusive Chocolate Honeycomb Sandwich. The ice cream bar features caramel ice cream with sugar bits sandwiched between two Speculoos biscuits. Similar to another viral Costco ice cream sandwich, half of the bar is dipped in chocolate.
In a Reddit thread about the Chocolate Honeycomb Sandwich, users have described the dessert as "incredible" and have rated it an impressive 10 out of 10.
"Really sad my location dropped them quickly," said one person
"I wish my location had these they are 10/10," another user added.
Despite the praise the ice cream bars have received, there were some critiques. One Costco shopper in particular pointed out that the cookie unfortunately doesn't cover the entire bar.
"When I bought these I thought the whole thing had the biscuit part and half was dipped in chocolate. But it’s half chocolate and half biscuit," they wrote.
Others would have preferred a biscuit that was "a little crunchier," while some weren't a fan of the cinnamon flavor.
There were also several comments about some Costco locations dropping the ice cream bars not long after they were made available, so be sure to act fast if you spot a box!
