Costco Is Making A Massive Change To Their Food Court Menu
One thing about Costco customers, they've become accustomed to change. Whether it's changes to membership fees or changes to the store's rotisserie chicken packaging, they've weathered it all. Thankfully though, a new change reportedly heading to the warehouse next year is sparking joy among the Costco community—food court lovers in particular.
According to several social media posts, the Costco food court will be swapping out its Pepsi products for Coca-Cola products. A user on Reddit was one of the first to share the news, writing "Good news for my fellow Costco-going [diet] coke enjoyers. My well-placed source said 'early 2025.'"
And on Instagram, Ryan Quinlan (@butthatsmyopinion), the creator of a popular news account, says that Costco ended their partnership with Pepsi and will slowly make the shift over to to Coca-Cola products throughout the beginning of 2025.
"They're bringing Coca-Cola products back to the Costco food court. That means instead of having Pepsi, Mountain Dew, or Starry, you'll have sodas like Coke, Sprite, Fanta, and root beer," he explained.
In the comments to @butthatsmyopinion's post, people are rejoicing at the fizzy news.
"Thank god. It never made sense to me why a top tier company like Costco was slumming it with Pepsi," one person wrote.
"Haven’t bought a drink from Costco since they went to Pepsi. I stop at McDonald’s on the way there and take me Coke in with me. Saves me an extra stop," another user added.
Others are begging that Costco and Coke include Dr. Pepper in the new lineup.
"Yes!!!!! Hope they also get Dr Pepper," read one comment.
