For many Costco shoppers, the warehouse's bakery was once a source of joy—the section you would go to for a sweet treat after a long afternoon of stocking up on deals in bulk. But lately, it's been home to more drama than a Real Housewives episode. From customers swapping croissants with their bare hands to fan-favorites being axed, it's been a rough time for bakery fans.

Thankfully, we finally have a win: Costco's new Almond Croissant Pastries. The treat has already gone viral across social media, garnering praise from plenty of shoppers.

Quite the decadent offering, the pastries are made with a butter croissant dough and stuffed with an almond filling. They're then topped with sliced almonds and powdered sugar. We're not drooling, you're drooling!

In an Instagram post shared by @costcobuys, the account described the croissants as "phenomenal." Others chimed in in the comments, adding that they were "pleasantly surprised" by the bakery item.

"There's something addictive in their almond pastries - so good!!" one person commented.

The Almond Croissant Pastries also received plenty of praise in a thread on Reddit. The original poster declared that the pastries "look absolutely delicious" and shared a photo of a pack.

"I'm obsessed with these but I do agree they're pricey at $2 each, but they're still cheaper than a bakery," one person on Reddit wrote. "Just got done eating one," reported another. "Confirmed: Amazing."

Yet another Redditor shared a heating technique that sounds quite appealing: "They're delicious, especially if you warm them in the air fryer on bake, 350° for 4 minutes. So good!"

'Oh man. There goes the 3 lbs I lost this week," another user added.

We're sure those three pounds are well worth it!
