However, there has been some online chatter recently about the future of this hot dog combo and its historically low price.

Is Costco Raising the Price of Its Hot Dog Combo?

On a recent Reddit thread, someone posted, "$1.50 Hot dog combo price might not be around forever." Other comments confirmed the price may be up in the air with the new change in executive management. But not everyone is convinced. One commenter said, "I'll believe it when I see it. I've read numerous articles over the years about Costco raising the price."

Some significant changes within Costco have been shaking up members and nonmembers alike. Not only will it soon require membership to enjoy its food court offerings, but you will also need to scan your membership at the door upon arrival.

Leadership roles are also changing within the company. Craig Jelinek retired as Costco's CEO on Jan. 1, and former President and COO Ron Vachris took his place. Jelinek has since remained at Costco, where he has been assisting Vachris during the transition until next month.

CFO Richard Galanti is also said to be stepping down this month after being in the role for over 40 years. When asked whether the company might be raising the hot dog combo price in an interview with Bloomberg, he simply said, "It's probably safe for a while," giving us some hope but not without uncertainty.

With all the latest membership and leadership changes happening at Costco, the future of how this will affect its prices is a little blurred. For now, loyal fans can rest assured that the popular food court treat will stay where it is at the same price.
