The couple’s photographer, Prathima Pingali, who shared the photos online, told PEOPLE of the photoshoot: “I was genuinely so excited when I saw that [Rhea] wanted to include her cat in the shoot!”
“I love a good challenge, and while I’ve worked with cats before, gingers are truly in a league of their own,” she continued. “This particular orange boy, though? One of the sweetest I’ve met. Sure, he had his moments where he clearly wanted some space (what cat doesn’t?), but he never scratched or hissed—just let out a little grumble before trying to wiggle away.”
Pingali added that it was understandable that the couple made the request, as a “Save-the-Date” “marks such a significant milestone” and they wanted all their loved ones to be a part of it — even their pet.

Though, it didn’t come without its challenges, as she noted that she had to bribe the feline with wet treats that were only given on special occasions and she also had to switch the lighting from “strobe” to “continuous” in order to get the cat to relax more. Toffee also had some special treatment, as he would get “little breaks between each setup.” Pingali said of the photoshoot, “... A lot of patience made all the difference."

As for how Rhea and Denzyl reacted to the photos, Pingali said “they LOVED them” She also noted that they left her a spectacular review. They wrote, "We had such a wonderful experience with Pawparazzi for our 'Save-the-Date' photoshoot. It was just us and our cat, Toffee, and while we were excited, Toffee… not so much."
“He was jittery, nervous, and kept trying to escape, making it quite the challenge,” they continued. “But Prathima was so patient and understanding—never once rushing or forcing anything... Her calm, friendly vibe made the shoot so much more enjoyable."
