Dairy Queen Has a Brand-New Dipped Cone Flavor for Spring
And just like spring, it's "sprinkled" with pops of color.
We are all ready for spring, and not many of us don’t mind if it comes a bit early. The signs are there. Daylight is staying with us longer. Daffodils are starting to bloom. And Dairy Queen has released a new spring-inspired cone dip before the first official day of the season, giving customers a glimpse of the warmth and the green to come.
About this time last year, the ice cream shop debuted its cone dip for spring, the Churro Dipped Cone, fashioned after the fried cinnamon-sugar dessert. According to TikTok’s DairyQueenShelbyTwp, the Churro followed other spring flavors of previous years—Fruity Blast, Orange Dreamsicle, and Cotton Candy.
Miranda, the voice behind the TikTok account, is a Dairy Queen district manager in Michigan. She shared a video of this year’s flavor and says it’s probably her favorite of them all.
“This year, I’m excited to announce the new flavor is confetti cake,” she said, adding that it tastes “just like a funfetti cupcake.”
Dairy Queen's New Confetti Cake Dipped Cone for Spring
Dairy Queen describes the new Confetti Cake Cone Dip as a “cold, creamy DQ vanilla soft serve cone covered in a confetti cake flavored cone dip.” The dip hardens almost instantly once it hits the cold ice cream creating a crunchy, cake-tasting coating on the ice cream. The new dip hit all DQ locations this past Monday, Feb. 26.
The new cone dip isn’t the only seasonal treat to get excited about it. It joins the St. Patrick’s Day ice cream delights like Under the Rainbow Shake, a strawberry shake blended with rainbow sprinkles and whipped cream, and Mint Brownie Blizzard, with mint soft serve with brownie pieces and chocolate chunks.
With all these new treats for spring, it's certainly a good time to head to Dairy Queen.
