Dairy Queen Is Giving Away Free Ice Cream Today

You know the countdown to spring is officially on when the promise of a free ice cream cone from Dairy Queen is near. Well, you can mark your calendars because the chain has just announced that its annual Free Cone Day will take place on March 19, the first day of spring.

For Dairy Queen, the start of spring also marks the kick off to "Treat Szn," which sounds absolutely delicious.
“Nothing says warmer weather is around the corner quite like Free Cone Day. We’re inviting fans everywhere to grab their friends and families and get their ‘Treat Szn’ started with something sweet – on us!” said Maria Hokanson, executive vice president, marketing at ADQ, in a statement.
No stranger to a good deal, Dairy Queen has held quite a few wallet-friendly promotions outside of Free Cone Day. Just last year the restaurant sold its fan-favorite Blizzards for only 85 cents during the entire month of April. (I'm sure we're not the only ones hoping for a repeat this year.)
And for those eager to try out new Blizzard flavors for spring/summer, March 19 could bring some additional excitement. In response to a fan on Instagram suggesting that March 19 is the "Perfect day to transition to summer flavors," Dairy Queen replied "SEE👏YOU👏MARCH👏19👏"
Either way, we'll absolutely be at DQ bright and early on March 19.
