Dakota Johnson reveals the one thing she’s pregnant with – and it’s not Chris Martin’s baby!

Dakota Johnson was first linked to Chris Martin a year ago when the actor and musician were spotted eating sushi together in Los Angeles. The fiercely private pair waited almost a year to confirm their romance, and now rumours are swirling that the new couple are expecting a baby together. The Fifty Shades of Grey actress appeared on The Ellen Show on Thursday (Oct. 11) and happily put the grape vine to rest.

As sweet as pregnancy announcements are in Hollywood, the 29-year-old officially confirmed to Ellen DeGeneres that they aren’t expecting anytime soon. “The only thing I’m pregnant with is a lot of really good ideas. But not any babies,” she told the talk show host. She went on to explain why the rumours began in the first place, opening up about a funny coincidence while celebrating her birthday. “It was my birthday and there were balloons that happened to be pink and blue… and so then I was pregnant,” she shared. “I didn’t know the balloons were going to be released. It was just like, an arch. But I guess that accidentally happened, one of the ends got let go.”

Her birthday party, which was held at the Coldplay frontman’s house, got a lot of attention – and not just because it was her big day! In early Oct., TMZ reported that the couple was throwing a gender reveal party based on the colours of the balloons spotted floating over Chris’ LA home. But a spokesperson for Dakota confirmed to Peoplethat they were just celebratory balloons, commemorating her 29 ^th year.

Chris and ex Gwyneth Paltrow share two children, Apple Martin, 14, and 12-year-old Moses Martin, and it seems the singer has already found fans in his girlfriend’s parents. Her mom, Melanie Griffith, told People this past May that she “adores him” but respects their wishes for privacy. Since first being spotted together, Dakota has made a trip to South America to watch Coldplay’s Argentinian show, as well as visiting him at his Malibu home. The actress finally broke her silence about their relationship when she graced the cover of Tatler’s Nov. 2018 issue, saying: “I’m not going to talk about it, but I am very happy.”
