Dakota Johnson Suits Up in Cropped Versace Blazer for ‘Madame Web’ London Photo Call

Dakota Johnson meant business on Wednesday while attending a photo call for her upcoming film, “Madame Web,” in London.

The actress sported a black Versace skirt suit from the Italian label’s pre-fall 2024 line. Johnson added on diamond jewelry by Jessica McCormack, as well as a pair of leather Bottega Veneta mules.

Stylist Kate Young — who also counts Julianne Moore, Michelle Williams and Scarlett Johansson as clients — curated Johnson’s look for the occasion.

Hairdresser Mark Townsend styled Johnson’s brunette tresses in waves, while makeup artist Georgie Eisdell gave the actress rosy blush and a mauve lip.

Johnson also opted for a minimalist look while promoting “Madame Web” on “The Tonight Show” last week. Wearing a black strapless minidress by Wardrobe NYC, she paired it with sheer stockings, Christian Louboutin pumps and a 56-carat diamond necklace by Belperron. The gem was once worn by designer Elsa Schiaparelli, who modeled it for Vogue Paris in 1933.

Johnson spoke to host Jimmy Fallon about her most recent viral moment after the actress’ supposed 14-hour sleep schedule made headlines earlier this month. “I didn’t even say that,” Johnson said. “I said that I could easily sleep 14 hours, but I don’t demand it….I have a job.”

Marvel’s “Madame Web” debuts in theaters next month. Johnson portrays the titular heroine alongside a star-studded cast that includes Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, Adam Scott and Zosia Mamet. “It’s a superhero world from a female perspective,” Johnson said.

Johnson has been a brand ambassador for Gucci since the mid-2010s, fronting campaigns for the Italian label’s fragrances, clothing and handbags. In 2020, the actress became an investor in and co-creative director of Maude, a sexual wellness brand.
