Dakota Johnson Wore a Super Sheer Black Lace Jumpsuit That Made Everyone's Jaws Drop

Dakota Johnson just knows what outfits will get her fans fired up.
Back in October 2018, the Fifty Shades of Grey star surprised viewers when she appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. While Dakota has earned a reputation for her daring sense of fashion, people couldn't take their eyes off of the actress' all-black jumpsuit. Her choice of apparel not only featured a plunging neckline with pleating, but it also had the unique detail of a sheer lace sleeve. The lace material was also incorporated into the neckline. As for the pants portion of the outfit, the length of it fell at her ankles and the look was complete with a black scarf wrapped around the waistline.
To pull the entire ensemble together, Dakota paired the jumpsuit with black stiletto sandals and minimalistic jewelry. She wore her signature long brown hair straight and donned natural makeup with a bright fuchsia colored lip.
When photos began to surface of the Persuasion star's outfit on social media, fans immediately took notice. Unsurprisingly, many folks proceeded to share their thoughts in the comments section on Instagram.

With this elegant look, the Cha Cha Real Smooth actress continued her track record for wearing sheer pieces in front of the cameras. Back in May, folks saw her wear a see-through black lace jumpsuit when she walked the red carpet at the 2022 Met Gala. Dakota has been spotted in sheer lace corsets — once in September 2019 and another time just two years later in September 2021.
So, when will fans see The Lost Daughter alum venture back into the fashion game? Well, if her upcoming projects listed on IMDB are correct, it will most likely be sooner rather than later. Until then, we'll be keeping our fingers crossed for another of Dakota's signature couture moments.
