Daniel Roseberry Revives Archival Salvador Dalí Lobster for Schiaparelli Spring 2024

For Schiaparelli's Spring 2024 collection, Daniel Roseberry went deep into the archives of the brand, centering the inspiration for this season around the 1937 Lobster Dinner Dress — a collaboration between house founder Elsa Schiaparelli and surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. Several looks throughout the collection reference the iconic gown, including a ruched maxi skirt and a black mini dress featuring a gold three-dimensional lobster at the neckline.

Where the crustacean wasn't directly cited, other creatures of the sea like crabs and fish were brought to life throughout the collection.
