Demi Moore in Balmain, Molly Ringwald in Rodarte and More Stars Favor Avian Flares at the Premiere of ‘Feud: Capote vs. The Swans’
The second season of FX’s “Feud” charts the fascinating lives of Truman Capote’s muses including Lee Radziwill, Babe Paley and C.Z. Guest. Subtitled “Capote vs. The Swans,” Naomi Watts, Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore and Chloë Sevigny star as the author’s high society pals, whose secrets he would eventually expose in the 1975 Esquire article “La Côte Basque, 1965.” The latest installment of Ryan Murphy’s hit anthology series premieres Jan. 31.
Moore, Ringwald and more stars turned Tuesday’s premiere into a Black and White Ball, evoking the dress code of Capote’s legendary 1966 shindig. Many attendees opted for feathers and frills, adding avian touches to their custom couture.

Demi Moore
Moore sparkled in a beaded strapless gown by Balmain. Her custom frock featured a swan design on the bodice, which was also adorned with three-dimensional plumes. The actress accessorized with Cartier jewels.
Emma Roberts
Emma Roberts donned a Giambattista Valli dress and feathered cape from the label’s fall 2022 couture line. The “American Horror Story” star added on a crystallized drawstring purse by Judith Leiber, jewelry by Joseph Saidian & Sons and Jimmy Choo pumps.
Molly Ringwald
Ringwald’s custom Rodarte gown and stole came lined with white tulle. Its velvet texture and sheer ruffles evoked a swan’s silky feathers.
Naomi Watts
Watts donned a lace Givenchy gown from the French label’s spring 2019 collection. Her feminine frock included rib cutouts and a small bow-adorned belt at the waist. The actress accessorized with a bedazzled swan-shaped clutch by Judith Leiber.
Chloë Sevigny
Sevigny’s black-and-white ensemble featured a strapless drop-waist gown by Christopher John Rogers and glovelettes exposing the wrists.
Calista Flockhart
Calista Flockhart’s plunging Zuhair Murad gown, which came from the label’s fall 2023 collection, included a velvet wrap bodice and a harlequin patterned skirt.
Diane Lane
Diane Lane’s custom Cristina Ottaviano gown, crafted from velvet and satin, featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and a floor-length train.
