Did You Know: You Can Add Multiple Stops on Google Maps

If you're an Android user, that is.

If there's one invention that has completely turned around the way we road trip aside from the introduction of the motor vehicle, of course it's Google Maps.

Planning a trip is just a few clicks away, and there's a pretty good chance you won't end up lost, unless your phone dies or you don't print out the step-by-step directions (back-up is always a good idea, fool!). And now it's even easier to navigate your next trip, as Google Maps has added the functionality to add stops along the way to your final destination.

Before, most Google Maps activity was a mix of straight-forward Point A to Point B instructions or a whole stack of single stop-by-stop print-outs compiling an entire trip. A recent Google Maps blog post shares exactly how to create an itinerary with as many stops as your little road-trippin' heart desires.

You'll find the "Add Stop" option in the menu, and you can use it before you even start the navigation. (If you're having trouble finding it, check the brand's blog post for a step-by-step.) Pulling over to grab lunch has never been so easy.

The new feature is currently only available for Android users, but Google has promised it's on the way for the iPhone, as well.
