There are many, many, many, MANY Kate Middleton conspiracies out there, and one of them is the claim that Kensington Palace employs stand-ins for the royal family who sometimes do their low-lift appearances. See: speculation surrounding Kate Middleton's now-infamous farm shop video.

But according to a professional lookalike who literally makes her living pretending to the Princess of Wales, this is not the case. Heidi Agan (who many incorrectly think is the person in the farm shop video) told Entertainment Tonight that she does not work for the palace.

"I'm not employed by Kensington Palace," she said. "I'm self-employed, and I just go to fun parties and corporate events and things like that. Nothing as serious as actually impersonating her for her."

She also reiterated that the farm shop footage "one hundred percent it wasn't me," a clarification she previously confirmed to The Mirror.

"There has obviously been some speculation about whether it was Kate and William in that footage and stills," Heidi said. "In fact, my own social media has gone crazy as people think it is me, but I know it is not. I was at work at the time so I know that is not me. I 100 percent believe that is Kate Middleton and William in that video."

She added, "My social media has gone crazy since the video emerged. It wasn't me. Joking about Kate is one thing but we need to give her time now and I'm sure she'll be back after Easter, like what was said in the first place."
