Sometimes, the new tricks dogs learn are unexpected and downright funny.

Johnnie Olivia Garcia, a contestant on Season 5 of Love Island USA, recently shared a hilarious moment she captured while her dog was trying out a new toy.

In the clip Garcia posted to TikTok on Jan 15, her fluffy white and brown dog sits on a carpeted floor with a brightly colored ball resting between her paws. The ball bounces and wiggles on its own while the dog stares at the camera.

The pup eventually tries holding the shaking ball in her mouth. Instead of letting the ball drop so she can chase after it, she keeps it in her mouth, which causes her whole body to vibrate. She then sits in place and looks around, seemingly unbothered by the jitters taking over her body.

"I was so excited to give her this ball that bounced on its own, but I didn't realize she would keep it in her mouth," Garcia wrote over the humorous clip, adding in the caption, "The violent shaking 😭."

The amusing moment has earned over 9.6 million views on TikTok and has inspired thousands of comments, many of which remark on the dog's laissez-faire attitude toward life.

"Mouth full, head empty," wrote one commenter. "Not a thought behind those eyes, i love her," shared another.
