Dollar Tree Shoppers Are Running To Grab the ‘Most Gorgeous’ New Kitchen Find

Budget shoppers know that Dollar Tree is great for some groceries, helping them to stick within their weekly shopping budget, and for all sorts of small, practical household items. The store crushes it with those super useful home goods. It offers everything from kitchen tools that you’ll use all the time to Snackle Box dupes for snacking on-the-go to inexpensive organizers to keep things neat and tidy.
The bargain store is more typically known for these useful finds. But lately, it has been upping its game with tableware, too. We were recently impressed by the $1 Dollar Tree tumblers that look every bit as attractive as a $20 William Sonoma version. Now, the store has a ceramic plate collection that no one would ever guess came from Dollar Tree.
Dollar Tree's Decorative Ceramic Plates Feature a Popular Pattern
Dollar Tree Dollie shared a post on Instagram highlighting what she called “most gorgeous new decorative ceramic plates,” and they truly are gorgeous. The dinner plate is black and white with a mandala pattern, and it looks like in addition to the dinner plate, there is also a salad plate, a bowl, and a mug with the same boho-ish pattern.
According to one of Dollar Tree Dollie’s followers, the ceramic dishware is durable, even in the dishwasher. “They don't [break easily], they're like regular thick plates. I got some.” There was no mention of price on the Instagram post, and these particular dishes aren’t on Dollar Tree’s website. However, all the ceramic dinner plates on the store’s website are $1.25 a piece so it’s reasonable to assume these are similarly priced.
What’s not similarly priced, however, is an almost identical set of black and white ceramic dishware sold at Macy’s. The four-place setting of Tabletops Unlimited Black Pad print has four each of dinner plates, salad plates, and cereal bowls. The entire set is $78.
Before you run out to replace your tired old dinner plates with these Dollar Store beauties, there is one thing you need to know. The dishes are not yet in all stores. According to one commenter who contacted the corporate office, the black and white dishes are “a tester item and only sent to a selected amount of stores.”
Yes, we hear your collective sigh at reading that. Though maybe, just maybe, your local Dollar Tree was one of those tester stores, and you’ll find them on the shelf. And, if not, these plates are so beautiful and so on-trend for those who have adopted the boho aesthetic that they probably tested really well. That means there’s a possibility they will come to a lot more stores in the future.
