Drench Your Lips In Gisou's New Tinted, Honey-Infused Lip Oils
Gisou just launched an updated version of its cult-classic honey-infused lip oils and this time it's tinted. The new lip lacquer is available in three new shades; "Watermelon Sugar," a clear pink shimmer shade; "Mango Passion Punch," a sheer hot coral and "Strawberry Sorbet," a sheer pinkish red. The new formula is dripping in honey, bee garden oil, jojoba and meadowfoam to make the oil hydrating and long-lasting. The brand boasts that the lippie also has a glossy, non-stick formula that will give wearers the "smoothest, glossiest, most irresistible tinted lips."
For Gisou, customer feedback and the community are top priorities, citing that the creation of the honey-infused lip oils was due to requests from its consumers. In 2023, the brand tapped into its social media communities to determine what scents the new lip oils would carry and the response was overwhelmingly fruit-based, according to the brand. They took that feedback to their product development team and began production on new tinted oils.
The brand's founder, Negin Mirsalehi, leans fully into the appreciation the brand has for the bees that aid in creating the honey for the lip oil formula. "I love that our honey-infused lip oil now comes in tinted, fruit-scented editions to celebrate the crucial pollinating work of bees for our ecosystem," she explains. Mirsalehi describes the new launch as a "vibrant, glossy and delicious" lippie to rehydrate with all spring and summer long.
