Dua Lipa Perches On A Rock In A Totally Naked Red Dress And Black Thong
Much like Austin Butler and Elvis, Dua Lipa appears to have been possessed by the spirit of Mermaid Barbie, and we are not complaining!
Dua hopped on Insta over the weekend to share a photo series of herself perched atop a rock by the ocean, wearing a completely transparent red dress with just a thong.
Which yes, is a very similar vibe to the outfit she wore to the Barbie premiere—a naked Bottega Veneta fishnet dress, paired with literally nothing except for a white Hanky Panky thong and some diamonds for good measure.
As you likely know from what I can only assume was a grueling-but-worth-it day of Barbenheimer, Dua’s “Dance the Night” is featured on the film’s soundtrack. Plus, she plays Mermaid Barbie in the movie, and pops up for several cheerful "hi Barbies."
This song is obviously incredible, and you can expect more music from Dua soon. Well, soonish. She told Variety last year that she's working on a new album, which has taken “a complete turn." As she put it, “I’m going to keep writing in the early months of the new year and see where that takes me. The album is different—it’s still pop but it’s different sonically, and there’s more of a lyrical theme. If I told you the title, everything would make sense—but I think we’ll just have to wait.”
