Dua wears Mugler to a dive bar

Dua Lipa is known for her fearless fashion, whether it's outrageous Yeti boots on Jimmy Fallon or a showgirl-esque crystal-embellished, cutout catsuit. She's *also* known for being a seriously busy woman, pushing this to new lengths in recent months. Not only has she just dropped a new single with Megan Thee Stallion (rocking some iconique hers 'n' hers sheer looks in the video, FYI) but she's even gearing up to appear in her first movie role, in thriller Argylle alongside Henry Cavill.

With all this work in the pipeline and a track record of some serious fashion looks, it makes sense that Dua would want to let her hair down in style – which is exactly what she *just* got up to. Posting a collection of pics to her IG grid yesterday, it seems like Friday night was all about cutting loose: lounging around a series of arcade games and taking pics in a leopard print photo booth, all in a bar with a neon "I ❤️ cold beer" sign.

The free-wheeling attitude of these pics – accompanied by the caption "has a special affinity for dive bars" – gives major indie sleaze energy: the TikTok throwback movement that's all about celebrating the party culture of the late aughts and early teens, back when everyone seemed to be in an indie band...or at least dating someone who was.

But shunning the movement's lo-fi fashion, Dua stuck to her characteristic glam with a sheer Mugler-on-Mugler look. Wearing the brand's cut-out star print mini dress with matching fitted tights, the futuristic fit is leaving indie sleaze all the way back in 2012...

And fashion fans might remember that Khloé Kardashian recently stepped out in a similar look, wearing a trippy blue naked dress with a familiar star motif, so clearly this Mugler print is already a hit with our fave celebs.
