Dua Lipa Is a Sparkly Disco Ball on the Grammys Red Carpet

Top pop girl Dua Lipa has arrived on the 2024 Grammys red carpet looking as shiny as a disco ball—or maybe like the glimmering trophy she could take home tonight?

The singer, who is nominated for song of the year for “Dance the Night” from Barbie, wore a metallic silver tassel dress by Courrèges, which had a plunging neckline and sly cutouts on both hips.

The deep V-neck of the dress gave Lipa a chance to show off a stunning statement necklace from Tiffany & Co.'s 2023 Blue Book Collection, which is shaped like two fish meeting in the middle at an orange sapphire stone. A matching bracelet and ring completed the look.

Lipa wore her newly red hair in loose waves around her face with a matching glossed lip.

In her category, Lipa faces stiff competition in an almost all-female lineup. Her fellow nominees are Taylor Swift (“Anti-Hero”), Jon Batiste (“Butterfly”), Billie Eilish (“What Was I Made For?”), Miley Cyrus (“Flowers”), SZA (“Kill Bill”), Olivia Rodrigo (“Vampire”), and Lana Del Rey (“A&W”).

As well as her new album, set to come out this year, Lipa is also entering her movie era. After appearing in Barbie as a mermaid, she is kicking off 2024 with a starring role in the just-released film Argylle.

At the Argylle premiere, Lipa wore a strapless sequined gown in a gorgeous eggplant shade, matching the hair color she's been rocking since October. It's a very rock-and-roll style, but that's not the direction she's going in musically.

As she told Rolling Stone, the next album will be a “psychedelic-pop-infused tribute to UK rave culture.” She added, “This record feels a bit more raw. I want to capture the essence of youth and freedom and having fun and just letting things happen, whether it’s good or bad.”

Dua Lipa's also got a new man: hottie British actor Callum Turner. We're going to be seeing a lot of Dua in 2024.
