Dua Lipa's *tiny* chainmail bra is giving Joan of Arc on vacay
Everyone — yep, everyone — is obsessed with Ms Dua Lipa's style. Collabing with stylist Jahleel Weaver (who also works with theee Rihanna and indie darling Taylor Russell), the pop icon has developed a style which is equal parts glam and grunge for her latest era.
With her now signature red locks, Dua's best looks of late include lashings of lace, safety pins, unexpected cuts and slits and clashing textures. Case-in-point? The see-through lace Marc Jacobs gown she wore to this year's Met Gala. Featuring a huge train, a statement feather stole, cutouts and a corset bodice, it was a true stand-out.
Other highlights have included the more-cutout-than-fabric lace-up trousers she wore to host Saturday Night Live, a strapless top that was actually just three belts (yep, you read that correctly), a tiiiiiiny LBD paired with an XXL coat (remember mob wife chic? Yeh, she was rocking that) and even an apple green leather coat that seriously nailed off-duty chic.
Now she is back on form with another rock star-esque look that will exist on our mood boards for, well, forever.
Attending the iHeartRadio Festival last night (20 September) she rocked a plunging black waistcoat with silver detailing at the hem which was paired with a black, zip-through maxi skirt which was worn unzipped from the upper thigh, creating a dramatic thigh slit.
She topped the look off with a pair of black, strappy archive Gucci heeled sandals, a matching black mani-pedi and ~ wait for it ~ a tiny chainmail bra worn underneath her waistcoat.
Goth chic? Check. Medieval flair? Check. Boho waistcoat? Check. It looks like Dua has nailed three trends in one, and we love that from her!
