The Duchess of Cambridge is glamorous in Gucci for glitzy gala dinner

The Duchess of Cambridge got glamorous for her second outing of the day at the 100 Women in Finance gala on Feb. 13. Kate is no stranger to the philanthropic initiative, which puts the spotlight on empowering women in finance and alternative investment industries, a cause certainly close to the royal's heart. And for the inspiring event, the mother of three made heads turn in Gucci – the cherry on top of a fashionable day!

Kate followed up her fabulous tweed Dolce & Gabbana ensemble this morning with an ethereal blush pink Gucci gown for the evening gala. The dress features drapes of pink and cream fabric, as well as a crushed velvet berry belt around her midsection. Her small velvet Prada clutch matched the belt perfectly, and she anchored the look with a pair of silver Oscar de la Renta heels. The duchess kept her brunette locks in a half-up-half-down look – perfectly showing off her dazzling Kiki McDonough earrings – keeping her makeup look simple with a smoky eye and bronzed cheek.

The duchess has attended this event three times since saying "I do" to Prince William in 2011. Most recently, the brunette beauty attended in 2015, where she stunned in one of her go-to designers, Erdem. The flower-print dress, which rang in around CA$5,300, brought colour to the evening and as for sparkle, Kate accessorized with diamond-and-sapphire earrings that once belonged to the Queen Mother.

Two years prior, in 2013, the Duchess of Cambridge made jaws drop in an ink blue tulle gown by Jenny Packham, which boasted a stunning velvet belt around the waist and a flattering sweetheart neckline. She looked glamorous as ever with her dark hair curled by her shoulders. She joined forces with Prince William in 2011 – the year they got married at St George's Chapel – and she wore a Beulah London Sari dress.
