Duchess Meghan Is a Vision in a Strapless Turquoise Gown in Germany
Duchess Meghan made a bold return to party dressing on Saturday night for the 2023 Invictus Games’ closing ceremony.
The duchess attended the tournament’s final event, on September 16, alongside Prince Harry. The couple cheered along to performances from Rita Ora and Eurovision star Sam Ryder. For the occasion, the duchess wore a strapless column dress by Cult Gaia, which featured an overlay of an embroidered floral pattern with subtle silver detailing along the sides and open gaps in between. The top layer laid atop an opaque mini-length underlay, leaving the midi-length skirt to include small peekaboo cutouts. Meghan added a pair of beige pointed-toe pumps by Aquazzura and accessorized sparingly, with small diamond hoops and a gold Cartier bracelet.
As for her glam, the star wore her hair in a slick bun with a center part, paired with a natural makeup look and a glossy pink lip.
The fun and colorful piece included details similar to the jaw-dropping look she wore to the 2023 Women of Vision Awards in New York City in May, which also featured a bold hue and peekaboo detailing. The strapless, metallic-gold dress by Johanna Ortiz included a tiny diamond-shaped keyhole cutout and a center leg slit. She completed the look with for strappy gold Tom Ford heels, a small gold clutch from Carolina Herrera, and an array of gold jewelry.
Since touching down in Germany on Tuesday, Meghan has worn a streak of chic monochromatic looks for the tournament's daytime events, which have ranged from a late-summer shorts suit, to a silky brown button-down and slacks, to a cinched Zara romper and crisp blazer. Earlier today, she looked elegant in a silky cream ensemble courtesy of Cuyana, comprised of a breezy trench and high-waisted trousers.
