As the countdown begins, it's women who are said to be still undecided about how to cast their vote. Findings by The Women's Budget Group reveal that a quarter of women were unsure of how they'd vote, in contrast to just 11% of men.

It's why the ELLE survey asks the important questions — What do you see as the most important issue facing women in the UK today? Do you believe female MPs are treated equally to their male counterparts? How has the way you talk about politics with your friends changed? — to uncover what matters most to women across the country, and how their views will shape the political future of the country.

With this survey we hope to unlock and understand why and how women are voting. Though making up the majority of the electorate, women have largely been underrepresented in parliament, both in the number of female MPs and with female-centric issues given little priority, even in a decade where two female Prime Ministers have led the country. As we head to the polls, women make up 32% of members of the Commons and Lords. We want to hear from you.

Before you cast your vote, share your opinion with ELLE.
