Elon Musk Launches 'Tesla Tequila' Worth $250, Premium Quality Alcohol Gets Sold Out Online Within Hours!

Elon Musk is a great entrepreneur and he probably knows what his target audience wants best! The Tesla CEO introduced a tequila worth $250 on their website the product has gone off the racks within hours of its launch. Called the 'Teslaquila' this tequila bottle has a sleek and unique shape like a lightning. The product is now listed "out of stock". Musk had pitched the idea of "Teslaquila" in April 2018 on April Fool's Day. But it was considered a joke back then, but now whose laughing as the quality product off the racks within hours? In August this year, he even unveiled Neuralink, a chip-like device fit in pig's brain.

This premium Tesla Tequila costs $250 for a 750-mL bottle. It has been described as a "sustainably sourced spirit best served as a sipping tequila," on their website. The alcohol is aged for over a year in French oak barrels. It has tastes of dry fruit, light vanilla and cinnamon pepper. It is not known if the product will be stocked up again or when.

According to reports, Tesla had also e filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to trademark “Teslaquila." But the idea of the name had not gone well with Mexico's tequila producers back then. They said that Teslaquila evokes Tequila which in itself is a protected word. It was later decided that the Tequila would be made by Destiladora del Valle de Tequila, a major producer of tequilas and other spirits. As per Tesla's website, the beverage is made Nosotros Tequila, one of the labels from Destiladora del Valle de Tequila. And this new alcoholic beverage is only available in select states of US like New York, California and Washington. The car-maker is now entering the beverage business, but are you even surprised by Musk's wings of venturing into businesses?
