Emily Ratajkowski Is the Epitome of 2000s Style in a Hooded Tracksuit Gown
Emily Ratajkowski pulled from the 2000s-era archives for her latest red-carpet look.
The model and My Body author attended the BoF 500 Gala amid Paris Fashion Week, where she wore a sleek hooded tracksuit gown from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2007 collection (sourced from Opulent Addict). The ensemble included a black satin bomber jacket with ivory puffy sleeves and a plunging backless silhouette, as well as a matching maxi-length dress featuring nature-themed embroidery along the rear. An attached hood, also adorned with embroidered nature motifs, topped off the look.
The star accessorized minimally, adding a pair of strappy black sandals while carrying a white vintage micro bag by Fendi. Her hair was tucked under the hood, and her makeup look included long winged eyeliner, faux freckles, and a glossy nude lip.
Last month, EmRata wore another enviable Y2K-inspired look while attending the MTV Video Music Awards. Her love letter to early-’00s style was comprised of a Jean Paul Gaultier handkerchief dress, which featured crisscrossing halterneck and abdominal straps in emerald green, and an asymmetrical skirt printed with a rusty-orange surrealist illustration of a woman diving in circles. She paired the dress with a small bedazzled Fendi bag, metallic gold stilettos from Piferi, and an array of gold jewelry.
Following her arrival in Paris earlier this week, the model enjoyed an evening out with friends on Friday, dressed in a vintage Dolce & Gabbana slipdress with a brown netted overlay. The semi-sheer piece featured thin spaghetti straps, a plunging scoop neckline, and brown floral lace along the hem. Her black underwear was visible through the piece, and she completed the look with coordinating chocolate-brown strappy sandals, chunky gold hoops, and a shiny croc-embossed shoulder bag.
