Emily Ratajkowski Flaunted Her Toned Abs in an Asymmetrical Latex Crop Top at PFW
She paired it with a polarizing Y2K trend.
Emily Ratajkowski is making her washboard abs her best accessory at Paris Fashion Week. While heading to the Courrèges show on Wednesday, Feb. 28, the model gave a masterclass on how to style a winter crop top with a head-turning black leather statement piece.
The “My Body” author’s midriff was front and center in her asymmetric stomach-baring top, which included a bold one-shoulder cut, one long-sleeved glove, and a near-backless design. The 32-year-old made the case for a controversial Y2K trend by pairing the statement top with a low-slung midi-length black skirt, which featured a side slit and perfectly showed off her chunky black leather boots. In her gloved hand, Ratajkowski carried a simple black boxy leather handbag as she showed off her cool girl street style ‘fit before heading to the event, which was also attended by Charli XCX and Brooklyn Beckham.
The model’s beauty look was a nod to her signature Southern California aesthetic. Offsetting her sleek and bold outfit, Ratajkowski kept her hair straight and natural with rounded curtain bangs. She accentuated her smoky eyes, fluffy brows, and sculpted cheekbones with her go-to pop of nude lip gloss.
The Gone Girl star’s appearance at Paris Fashion Week comes shortly after she hinted at a potential return to acting. Per Variety, Ratajkowski is reportedly in talks to star in Lena Dunham’s Too Much, where she will potentially play the male lead’s ex-girlfriend. Megan Stalter and Will Sharpe are tapped to play the leads in the Netflix comedy series, which began filming in December and follows a “New York workaholic in her mid 30s” who moves to London and unexpectedly develops a connection with a British guy "who is less Hugh Grant in Notting Hill and more Hugh Grant’s drunken roommate.”
Netflix hasn’t confirmed whether EmRata will be in the series yet, but it’s safe to say the actress is keeping all eyes on her with her off-duty model 'fits at Paris Fashion Week.
