Emily Ratajkowski Just Wore a Y2K Tracksuit Gown on the Red Carpet
Juicy Couture, this is not.
Last night, the BoF 500 Class of 2023 party brought out some of the boldest style we've seen all of Paris Fashion Week. First, Florence Pugh arrived to the event looking like a stylish superhero in a naked gown complete with a floor-sweeping cape, and, then Emily Ratajkowski showed up on the red carpet with an avant-garde take on the Y2K tracksuit.
Pulling an outfit directly from the early 2000s, the model and New York Times-bestselling author slipped on a black Jean Paul Gaultier hooded tracksuit gown that first made its debut at the designer's spring 2007 runway show. Over the backless gown — which featured sheer, striped detailing down the sides and chinoiserie-inspired embroidery — EmRata layered a matching bomber jacket with contrasting ivory sleeves and a hood over the dress. Letting the vintage gown speak for itself, she accessorized minimally, adding only a tiny cream-colored handbag, open-toe heels, and silver hoop earrings to her look.

Meanwhile, her glam included black winged eyeliner, a glossy nude lip, and rosy cheeks.
The next morning, Emily made an appearance at the Balenciaga spring-summer 2024 fashion show in a less flashy ensemble. At the venue, she was photographed outside wearing a figure-hugging black dress with a matching purse and a pair of the brand's signature pantaboots before making her way to her front-row seat. Her long brunette hair was worn down, straight, and effortlessly tousled to the side, revealing a pair of dangling crystal encrusted earrings underneath.
