Earlier this week, model-turned-actress Emily Ratajkowski revealed that she had trouble finding work thanks to the size of her breasts.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said her boobs had somewhat halted her career: “There’s this thing that happens to me: ‘Oh, she’s too sexy.’”

“It’s like an anti-woman thing, that people don’t want to work with me because my boobs are too big. What’s wrong with boobs? Why should that be an issue?”

While everyone assumed Emily was referencing Hollywood, the 26-year-old has clarified that she was actually talking about the fashion industry.

In a tweet posted on Wednesday, she wrote: “FYI I was talking about the fashion industry not celebrating the female form, NOT Hollywood.”

This isn’t surprising considering fashion designers’ continued preference for pre-pubescent bodies with small breasts.

Emily has walked for the likes of Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu but appears to be struggling to be seen as a serious model.

Although Hollywood isn’t under fire on this particular occasion, the Gone Girl star has previously spoken out against those who refuse to take her seriously in the acting world.

“If you’re a sexy actress, it’s hard to get serious roles. You get offered the same thing that they’ve seen you in,” she told ES Magazine last year.
