Emma Stone Is Breathtaking in a Silver Open Back Gown at the 2024 SAG Awards
Emma Stone went from a dreamy peach dress at the BAFTAs last Sunday to a breathtaking silver gown for tonight’s SAG Awards in Los Angeles. The actress wore the custom Louis Vuitton look with dangle earrings and a ring. Her hair was styled up in a bun.
Stone is nominated for Best Female Actor in a Leading Role, Motion Picture at the SAG Awards tonight.
Stone and Poor Things director, Yorgos Lanthimos, did a joint interview with Variety that came out this week ahead of the SAG Awards. Stone spoke to the outlet about what rehearsing for the film entailed and how it compared to her previous work.
“For La La Land, we did a ton of rehearsals for a very long time, but it was very specific: dancing and singing,” she said. “But when Yorgos was talking about rehearsal, I didn’t know what exactly that entailed. And it turns out that his rehearsals, they have nothing to do with what you’ll ultimately do on the day. But what it does, I think, subconsciously or in a subterranean way, is it lets everybody feel very comfortable with each other. You’re playing a lot of games.”
As for how she felt about it, she said, “I loved it. Yeah. And I realized by the time that we were on set, we all felt very close to each other. We had all gotten to know each other in a much more intimate way than we would’ve if we’d just been blocking and saying our lines over and over.”
