Emma Stone Rocked a See-Through Gown with a Bra Top at the 2024 Oscars After-Party
The actress changed into the racier, custom Louis Vuitton ensemble after wrapping up the awards show.
Emma Stone (almost) bared it all in a custom Louis Vuitton dress at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party on Sunday. The Best Actress Oscar winner changed into the dramatic ensemble after the 96th annual Academy Awards ended, posing for photographs in the Petra Flannery-styled look at the VF party while proudly holding her golden statuette.
Stone’s flowy, impeccably draped dress had an asymmetrical hemline and was fully see-through up top, revealing a matching bra top. Stone also wore strappy-heeled sandals, but wasn't seen in any ornate jewelry, save for simple earrings and a couple of rings on her fingers. Her hair fell straight around her shoulders and was parted in the middle.
Stone, who won Best Actress for her work in the film Poor Things, had a great night at the awards, though she experienced a bit of a wardrobe malfunction while singing and dancing along to Ryan Gosling's rousing rendition of "I'm Just Ken" near the end of the show. The performance was a hit, prompting plenty of celebs, from Margot Robbie to Lupita Nyong'o, to laugh, dance, and sing along.
When Stone was called to the stage to accept her Best Actress award, she began fidgeting with the back of her strapless Louis Vuitton peplum gown. Presenters Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Yeoh, Jessica Lange, and Sally Field rushed over to try to help her adjust her zipper. "My dress is broken," she told the audience. "I think it happened during 'I'm Just Ken,' I'm pretty sure." Honestly? She handled it like a pro.
